Is it the end of customer service? Is it the direct effect of the current credit crunch?

I am not sure to laugh or to be sad but it definitely turned me off from getting any deal from this company. This is what they have written on their Delivery and Orders page:

NOTE: Any cancellation, refund or exchange cases where the customer is rude to staff, abuses them or threatens, will be overseen by a company executive, cancelled and ignored. All rights of cancellation, refund and/or exchange will no longer apply ie. a refund will no longer be made and emails will be disregarded. No item will be able to be returned and the current order status will proceed as originally planned. GC’s PC’s strongly objects to customers who are rude and does not tolerate any of the stated above. GC’s PC’s will act against these issues with all its power to ensure the well-being of staff and our customers.

You can check it out yourself at: http://gcspcs.co.uk/store/index.php?act=viewDoc&docId=1
Most probably that segment may have been deleted when you read, but we got a screenshot of it just so we can share the horror or laugh at it.

Luckily, if you are in the US, there are still some cellphone stores such as CellphoneShop and Cellular Blowout that are reliable and still listen to customers. Use coupon code:freeship during checkout at cellphoneshop and get free shipping on your orders.

Want free web hosting with cPanel, FTP access and MySQL? Especially for those bloggers who are still using the free blog hosting such as wordpress.com, blogger.com etc. and still not yet have your own hosting account (or still thinking of which hosting to choose from?), this contest is for you! You know the limitation of a free blogging platform – time to move to your own Wordpress or Drupal installation.

About HostingsThatSuck.com

Most review sites rank web hosting companies by common terms such as “best web hosting”, ”reliable web hosting” or “cheap web hosting”. Instead, this site looks at web hosting companies from a different angle – by analyzing how many negative reviews has been made on certain webhosting. An example is illustrated below:

Hostgator Reviews “Hostgator Sucks” about 3,930
Lunarpages Review “Lunarpages Sucks” about 1,010
Bluehost Reviews “Bluehost Sucks” about 1,480
